About Grant The Birdman

Hi! We’re Grant and Jeff — a bird-loving father-and-son duo on a mission to get more people outside, looking up, and falling in love with nature (especially the feathery kind).

What started as a curious 10-year-old with a pair of binoculars has grown into Grant the Birdman — a project fueled by passion, joy, and way too many early morning birding adventures. Grant leads the way with his sharp eye, impressive bird knowledge, and a never-ending curiosity. Jeff (aka Dad) is the camera guy, chauffeur, snack carrier, and chief encourager.

Together, we create videos, artwork, and gear that help make birding more fun, more relatable, and a little more wild. Our goal? To show that birdwatching isn’t just for scientists or retirees—it’s for everyone, especially kids.

We hope our content makes you smile, teaches you something cool, and maybe even inspires you to grab a pair of binoculars and hit the trail.
